Synopsis

The darkest, funniest, sexiest cabaret show in East Berlin, presented by the super funny, hilarious, bewitching, top-notch, award-winning Queen of Weimar Punk, Bernie Dieter!

The mistress of the kabarret house, Bernie Dieter, performs her best songs, which are a little raunchy, provocative and full of laughter. Soaked in gin and with a Weimar punk jazz band in the background, she colors the cabaret on a night of dreadful peril. The entertainment voltage is at its highest with a breathtaking circus act. Award-winning cabaret superstar Bernie Dieter and her family of outcasts, misfits, and fantastic freaks who share this journey will deliver a night to remember for a lifetime.

The cabaret show has taken the world by storm over the past 18 months through 2019, winning "Pick of the Fringe" and "Best Cabaret" awards in Adelaide, Australia in 2018 and 2019. The show has also sold out completely in both Melbourne and Perth, and was named one of the most successful cabaret shows at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and one of the "Top 5 Best Review Show" (out of over 3,800 shows in all of Edinburgh's festivals). It was also named one of the "Top 5 Best Reviewed Shows" out of over 3,800 shows in all of Edinburgh's festivals. Its London debut was a three-month run as the centerpiece of the Underbelly Festival (a festival held in a large mobile tent on the Southbank), where it received 18 five-star reviews.

Bernie Dieter and his four-piece punk jazz band.
With their wild, witty, and bold original music on their side, the Little Death Club is the place to be who you want to be....

Creative Director Tom Velvick says, "our goal was to create the ultimate contemporary cabaret club where outcasts, punks, freaks, and all kinds of people could come to hang out. It's a world inspired by the underworld seen during the turmoil of the Weimar Republic, an era that celebrated gender freethinking and diversity."

Bernie Deeter is a standout talent among the cabaret artists of her generation, with The Herald (UK) saying, "When it comes to cabaret, no one can match the decadence and brilliance of Bernie Deeter". She is a talented performer who was selected as the first female MC for "La Clique," a variety show that won the Laurence Olivier Award in the UK, a fusion of circus, comedy, and cabaret that has been a long-running hit for 14 years on its world tour. She writes her own lyrics and has captivated audiences with her sharp wit and satirical songs from a fiercely feminist perspective.

In this dark and rebellious space, there are no forth walls separating the audience from the performers, no rules, and no safe seats. Welcome to the Little Death Club, a place where you can be whoever you want to be...
